BALTIMORE – Each year, National Night Out events enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement by bringing back a sense of community. The Maryland Insurance Administration, a state regulatory agency, joins our neighbors this special night by providing a wide range of valuable content on all types of insurance products available to consumers, including home, life, health and auto insurance. Insurance Commissioner Al Redmer, Jr. is scheduled to attend two local events and trained staff from the Maryland Insurance Administration’s outreach team will attend multiple National Night Out events on August 6, 2019.

"The Maryland Insurance Administration’s primary responsibility is to protect Maryland consumers and a part of that is providing education and letting them know we are here to help," says Al Redmer, Jr., Maryland Insurance Commissioner. "In order to achieve this goal, we need to meet our consumers where they live, work and play. That's why our representatives spend so many hours meeting with residents across Maryland. Each community is different and we learn a great deal through face-to-face communication.”
