Bulletin 14-25: Premium Tax Filings and Payments

To: All insurers; for-profit Health Maintenance Organizations; Managed Care Organizations; the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund; persons engaged in the business of writing insurance contracts, surety contracts, guaranty contracts and annuity contracts in the State of Maryland; and all other entities required to make premium tax filings and payments ​​

Re: Premium Tax Filings and Payments 

The Maryland Insurance Administration is transitioning to a new online premium tax reporting and payment system.  In the interim, all premium tax filings and payments must be submitted by mail or private delivery service.  Payments mailed or delivered on or before the due date will be considered timely filed.  Until further notice, all premium tax filings and payments should be sent to:
