The Property and Casualty unit of the Maryland Insurance Administration will be holding a meeting with interested parties to discuss development of the form required by Senate Bill 784 Motor Vehicle Insurance - Personal Injury Protection - Rejection of Coverage (Chapter 425, Acts of 2016). SB 784 requires the Maryland Insurance Commissioner consult with insurers, insurance producers, and any other person to develop the form, including use of the form by written and electronic means.
The first meeting will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016. A second meeting is tentatively scheduled for June 20.
