    211 will be able to connect callers to any type of health and human services in Maryland and provide information on resources based on zip code.

  • 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
    The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States.

  • Marylan​d Health Connection
    The MHBE makes health coverage affordable and more accessible for residents through Maryland Health Connection (MHC), the state’s health insurance marketplace under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA).

  • Optum Maryland
    Optum Maryland is responsible for processing claims and paying behavioral health providers for Medicaid participants and uninsured individuals.

    the Connector Program provides enrollment assistance and outreach services on behalf of the Maryland Health Connection in Garrett County, Allegany County, and Washington County

  • Allegany County Local Behavioral Health Authority The local health department formed the Authority in 2016

Anne Arundel County

 


  • Connector Entity - HealthCare Access Maryland

    At HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM), the Connector Program provides enrollment assistance and outreach services on behalf of the Maryland Health Connection in the Central Region (Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County) and the Modified Service Area (Howard County, Carrol County, and Frederick County).


  • Crisis Response System The Crisis Response System known as the "Community Warmline" is a service that provides Anne Arundel County Residents in crisis with supportive assistance and linkages to resources within the community.It can receive calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Non-emergency calls are handled by staff and will provide the caller with information, support and referrals. The Crisis Response System Staff intervene with callers who are experiencing a mental health and/or substance use disorder emergency.

  • County Department of Health's Cancer Screening Services

    The Anne Arundel County Department of Health’s Cancer Screening Services is a program that provides Anne Arundel County Residents with no-cost clinical breast exams, mammograms, Pap and HPV tests, and any necessary follow-up testing. The program can also help women make appointments and find transportation.
     

  • Anne Arundel Dental Access Program (AADAP) The Anne Arundel County Department of Health provides the following dental services through Anne Arundel Dental Access Program (AADAP) which provides dental services to the uninsured and the underinsured. Through this cooperative effort, local dentists provide services at reduced fees (10 percent to 25 percent less).

  • University of Maryland - Baltimore City Cancer Program
    The Baltimore City Cancer Program (BCCP) is a community-based program within the UM Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center which offers high quality, no-cost services to those without insurance or anyone in need of additional support in metropolitan Baltimore. The services also include Breast, cervical or colon cancer screenings.

  • Baltimore City Local Behavioral Health Authority Authority formed in 2014 as a non-profit organization.​

  • Baltimore County Cancer Prevention
    Progr​​ams​

    Baltimore County Cancer Prevention Programs provide clinical services by private medical professionals in the Baltimore area and are scheduled by the nurse case management staff. The services offered through this program are colorectal cancer screening, free mammograms, clinical breast exams and Pap tests for Maryland residents who are income eligible, and are not covered by health insurance for these services.

  • Baltimore County Dental Services
    Baltimore County Dental Services provide clinical dental services to County residents who do not hace any type of dental insurance and meet eligibility requirements.

  • Connector Entity - HealthCare Access Maryland
    At HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM), the Connector Program provides enrollment assistance and outreach services on behalf of the Maryland Health Connection in the Central Region (Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County) and the Modified Service Area (Howard County, Carrol County, and Frederick County).

    LBHA formed in FY2010 in the local health department: Baltimore County Department of Health, Bureau of Behavioral Health.​

They offer services for women and men, including: Gynecology (GYN) exams, Follow up for abnormal Pap tests, Birth control, Sexually-transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, HIV testing, Plan B (emergency contraception), and Colposcopy.
  • Best Beginnings (Prenatal Care) County Program
    Carroll County Heath Department provides Best Beginnings program offers access to prenatal care for pregnant women who are uninsured and not eligible for Federal or State assistance and insurance.
  • Carroll County Local Behavioral Health Authority
    LBHA formed in the local health department.

The services offered are Colorectal Cancer Screening Program, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening, and Healthy Hearts Blood Pressure Program.

    Trained phone counselors availabale 24 hours a day. Mobile crisis team responds to community to provide onsite mental health assessment services.

  • Care for Kids County Program
    Medical Care for Uninsured Children (Care for Kids) is a health care program that provides access to health care services for uninsured children in Montgomery County.
  • Dennis Avenue Health Center
    Services available to all residents, students, and individual who work in Montgomery County.
  • DHHS Dental Services County Program
    For DHHS Dental Services individuals must apply through the Office of Eligibility & Support Services offices with the application for Montgomery CountySafety-Net Programs. Each program has specific financial and non-financial eligibility requirements. In general, uninsured county residents who are not eligible for Medical Assistance (also known as Medicaid or MA) may qualify for county health programs.
  • Montgomery Cares (Medical Care for Uninsured Adults) County Program
    Group of community-based health care providers that provide medical care to uninsured adults in Montgomery County.
  • Montgomery County Crisis Center
    The Crisis Center provides free crisis services 24 hours a day/ 365 days a year. Services are provided by telephone (240-777-4000) or in person at 1301 Piccard Drive in Rockville (no appointment needed). Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) provides emergency crisis evaluations for individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Full crisis assessments and treatment referrals are provided for all crises, both psychiatric and situational. In addition, the program has four crisis beds as an alternative to hospitalization for those who are uninsured or are insured within the public mental health system.

The facility offers a wide range of services including behavioral health screening, crisis counseling, jail diversion programs for substance use treatment and recovery, and primary care medical services. The Health Hub serves as a link to community support services and coaching.
