Pharmacy Services Administrative Organization

​Companies seeking to act as Pharmacy Services Administrative Organization (PSAOs) shall register with the Maryland Insurance Administration as required under Title 15, Subtitle 20 of the Insurance Article, Annotated Code of Maryland.

In order to register, an applicant shall submit the following:

  • Application Form
  • Initial application fee of $500 (non-refundable) made payable to the Maryland Insurance Administration.
  • Send the signed PSAO Application by email or mail to address below.
     

The registration term expires on the second September 30 after its effective date.

Once registered, the pharmacy services administrative organization is required to apply bi-annually to renew its registration by September 30. A registration is not renewed in a timely manner will be considered to have expired.
