​This unit, part of the Administration Division, is primarily responsible for licensing producers and other insurance professionals and reviewing/approving continuing education courses. In addition, this unit oversees administration of the qualifying examination for producers; insurance advisers and public adjusters; provides online renewal for producer licenses; issues Letters of Certification or Clearance for Maryland residents and brokers applying for licenses in other states.
