The Administration Division provides centralized administrative services that support programs within the Maryland Insurance Administration. The staff works with the Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner and other Associate Commissioners to assist in policy and program management, including producer licensing, program design, priority setting, and resource allocation. Functional areas include fiscal services, human resources, management information systems, and facilities management. This section also is responsible for the collection of premium and retaliatory taxes.
